It is safe to say my little girls were deep into the Frozen craze even before they had ever seen the film. Rocking out to the soundtrack, dressing up in the costumes\/dresses, and insisting they be called “Elsa” and “Anna”… their passion continued to grow daily. A passion that quickly grew into an obsession after their first official “Frozen” viewing party.<\/p>\n

With that said, when it came time to plan their joint birthday party (birthdays both in the month of September)… it came as no surprise that “Frozen” was on the top of their list for themes.<\/p>\n

While I had no problem turning the inside of our home into a winter wonderland despite the 80 degree weather outside, it felt only natural to build upon the “Frozen Fever” short film, with a heavy emphasis on sunflowers in the middle of September.<\/p>\n

I wanted it clear the minute my guests opened their invitation that a Frozen Fever party was in the works. A quick Etsy search brought me to an adorable digital invitation that I was able to customize to my liking.<\/p>\n

ATTIRE<\/h3>\n

Finding the perfect Frozen Fever Elsa and Anna dresses didn’t prove to be too difficult (though I will admit, the standard Frozen dresses are FAR more plentiful). However, what did prove to be a large challenge was finding ones that would fit my soon-to-be 2-year-old (who would be Anna) and 4-year-old (who would be Elsa). Despite endless research, the smallest available sizes (at least at the time of my hunt) was a 4T (for Anna<\/a>) and a 6T (for Elsa<\/a>). With that said, some alterations were definitely in need. So, a little hemming, reconfiguring of the mid-section, and train bustling later (I swear the bustle on my daughter’s Elsa costume’s train would rival my own wedding train bustle, ha)… the dresses were complete!<\/p>\n

Making sure not to forget about the hair and knowing perfectly well that there was no way my young children would tolerate wigs for an extended period of time, I opted for clip in hair pieces. I found mine here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When planning my menu, I wanted to make sure that catchy phrases could be connected to the theme. I\u2019d be lying if I said I patented every one of these cute phrases all on my own. In fact, just like with every one of my parties, I scoured\u00a0Pinterest<\/a>\u00a0to aid in my planning.<\/p>\n
