I love to not only simplify everyday life, but also to personalize whenever possible. This is why when it came time to decorate our bar area... I knew I wanted to create a personalized menu! This look allowed me to stick to my rustic theme, while also incorporating practicality into my overall design.

More times than not, moving is an emotional time. You are leaving behind a home that often times has many memories tied to physical objects. Within those walls you may have brought your child home from the hospital. On that staircase, your teenager may have posed for their high school dance portraits. In that backyard you may have celebrated your retirement party. Whatever the association, the physical appearance of the front of that home may forever hold a special place in your heart. Or at least I knew this was the case for my family...
Every year come January, I tend to get that ping of sadness as I box up all my Christmas decorations. As wonderful as it is to have some semblance of normalcy back into my home, I so miss the twinkling lights and holiday decor. As one box of holiday decor is put away, I love taking out the next holiday's box and continuing to make my home as festive as possible. However, this year I realized just how minimal my Valentine's Day decoration collection was and decided to step up my game!
Are you a book lover? Or perhaps just love the classic look and simplicity of a crisp page within a novel? Then I have a project for you! This fun and easy craft is not only a perfect way to express your love for all things books, but also is a unique and classic way to decorate!

It may just be the occupational therapist in me, but I am all about visual learning and fine motor activities that can be incorporated into play time. This is when I decided to create a personalized memory game!
January is almost here! (How is that even possible?!) Do you have your calendar printed and ready for your most organized year yet? If not, do not fear because I have created FREE monthly calendar printables for you to enjoy! This year I have designed two sets of calendars-- black & white and watercolor themed.
While decorating for the holidays this year I looked around and realized that my couch pillows were not very festive and in some rooms the color combinations even clashed (oh the horror!). I contemplated purchasing a few new ones for the season... and by a few, I tallied that I would need about 11 pillows to satisfy by design craving. However, after a quick stroll down the pillow section at the store and a thorough scan online, I realized I'd be investing a small fortune. Additionally, I discovered that this would mean finding a location to store these 11 pillows throughout the remainder of the year. That's when I decided to create my own slipcovers...
